ABOUT ME

I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed an extremely diverse career in the Arts, which includes acting – stage, film, commercials/industrials; singing – various musical acts, and rock bands; writing – theatrical pieces and web series. I have even had the opportunity to do a bit of theatrical casting, and producing!

While I resonate with characters that give off a ‘hip, earthy vibe’, I also love to portray my mysterious side by playing characters with hidden agendas, like on “The Americans”, “The Affair”, etc… Family ‘dramadies’ are also a favorite…think “August Osage County”, meets “The Goldbergs” for the ideal role!

I have also performed in a wide array of original plays and readings all over NYC. Favorite theatres include Vital Theatre; Harold Clurman, and the esteemed award winning theatre co.
The Barrow Group where I also trained for several years. Some of the music venues I’ve enjoyed singing at in include The Bitter End; Mercury Lounge; The Shrine; Tammany Hall; The Triad, and Café Wha?

Having lots of experience temping in the corporate world, it seemed like the most natural next step was to develop an original piece titled…wait for it… “Temping: The Series”, which I originally created as a play with music, and then turned into webisodes, shown on “Funny or Die”! Favorite original songs include “Medical, Dental, 401K”; “Gotta Work/The Temp Song”; and “Blame the Temp!”

In 2006 I started my demo reel/custom montage video editing co. Latour de Force Productions, where I specialize in creating professional demo reels for actors/performers, and custom montages for special occasions. I have helped numerous actors book their next jobs from their demo reels! NYC Casting Director Jamibeth Margolis call me “Queen of the Reels”!

I’m always looking forward to the next project, and to meeting, collaborating and creating with fellow performers and storytellers!

Since the fussy, prissy Unger has always been the play’s showiest part, it’s not surprising that Latour’s Florence evokes the heartiest laughs.” – CurtainUp.com
